タイフはマッカから70kmの場所にあり、有名な史跡の1つがカンタラモスクです。
構造
カンタラモスクはアルマドゥーンモスクとしても知られており、アルマトナ地区にある小さなマスジッドで、162年ほど前に建てられました。オスマン帝国時代に建てられたモスクのデザインは、アバシッド建築から着想を得たもので、古代の印象を与えています。モスクは内部でも昔ながらの構造を維持しており、他とは異なる非常に特徴的なミナレットを備えています。円形のミナレットは円柱のように見え、球形のピークで終わります。周期的なはしごは、マスジッドの屋根に通じるドアとともにミナレットの頂上に通じています。人々はミナレットを登り、野原、丘陵斜面、山々を眺めることができます。
歴史
モスクの反対側には、預言者ムハンマドがタイフから追放された後に休息した農場があります。この地域は当時その実で知られていました。その農場で、預言者はその後、キリスト教徒であり、後にイスラム教に改宗したブドウ農家から果物を提供されました。地元の人々は、これがハズラット・アリが彼の公式の任務を遂行した場所でもあると主張しています。巡礼者はモスクを訪れ、その中で2つのラカットナフルの祈りを捧げるのが好きです。

Masjid Al Madhoon is a beautiful and important piece of architectural and Islamic history. The mosque is a peaceful and serene place, with a sense of reverence and awe that is palpable as soon as you enter the grounds. The mosque is well-maintained and preserved, and the ministry of culture is taking care of it considering important about the history and significance of the site. Overall, visiting this mosque is a truly unique and enlightening experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in historical Islamic sites.

It’s a great historical site to visit. The gate seems to be locked now but one can still view the site and the surroundings
