カイバー歴史都市は、サウジアラビアのオアシスであり、歴史的建造物です。メディナ市の北153キロに位置しています。 7世紀にイスラム教が台頭する前は、この地域にはアラビアのユダヤ人が住んでいました。西暦628年、預言者ムハンマド・ピース・ビー・アポン・ヒム（PBUH）の指導の下、イスラム教徒がカイバーの戦いで街を占領しました。
歴史と風景
ハイバルはナツメヤシの成長で知られており、淡水井戸もたくさんあります。街は1401年のイスラム暦まで人が住んでいました。しかし、洪水の繰り返しや不整地により、建物の状態は時間とともに弱くなっていきました。
政府は近くの平坦な土地に新しいカイバー市を建設し、そこの旧市街の住民に宿泊施設を提供しました。今日、旧市街は、住民に見捨てられてから数十年、数世紀が経過した廃墟となった家々で構成されています。これらの家は石と泥レンガで建てられました。また、近くの丘の上に立つ有名なハイバル砦もあります。
カイバー市を訪問
観光客は街の奥深くに入ることができませんが、それでも遠くから遺跡を見ることができます。ただし、最近はメンテナンスの継続により閉鎖されておりますので、観光客の休業日はご遠慮ください。

Very pretty historical ruins, and much bigger than we expected! You could spend hours walking around here. It is quite neglected, and at time doesn't always feel very safe (mostly because it's so quiet). I wish there was a map or more information about the ruins.

It was inhabited till 1981 (1401 Hijri) , when the Government offered accommodation to the inhabitants in the nearby built new Khaybar City due to the weak conditions of buildings. The buildings are still there. A well is also there and there are Date Farms with fruits. Must visit place, if you have interest in Historical Places.
