アルタウバモスクはタブークにあるモスクで、タブーク城の近くにあるため、キャッスルモスクとも呼ばれていました。タブークの戦いとのつながりがあるため、モスクはタブーク地域の非常に重要なランドマークと見なされています。預言者の平和が彼にある（PBUH）が7世紀にモスクに滞在している間、それはメッセンジャーのモスクとも呼ばれていました。
イスラームにおける重要性
西暦630年、20日間、預言者ムハンマド（PBUH）は、当時の春の流れの近くにあったため、現在はアルタウバモスクとして知られている場所にキャンプしました。預言者（PBUH）は、タブークの戦いのために3万人の兵士と共にここに到着しました。有名な戦いはローマ人と戦うことになっていたが、それは起こらなかった。しかし、預言者が滞在中に祈っていたときに、コーランの第9章であるSurah At Tawbaが明らかになりました。そのため、モスクはAl TawbaMosqueと呼ばれています。
建築
もともと、モスクは、カリフオマールビンアブドゥルアジズの統治時代に、レンガ、泥、ヤシの木の幹で建てられました。 1652年にオスマン帝国が再建し、最新の再建は20世紀初頭に行われました。今では、1つのミナレット、伝統的なアーチ型の入り口、豪華なカーペットと美しいシャンデリアのある大規模な礼拝堂があります。

“Tawba Mosque”, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia
The Prophet Muhammad(SAW) prayed here when he arrived with 30,000 men in AD 630 for the Battle of Tabuk against the Byzantines.
The battle never took place, but while here, the Quran's ninth chapter, Surah At Tawba, was revealed.
At Tawba Mosque was originally made of bricks, mud and palm-tree trunks. The Ottomans rebuilt it in 1652.

well preserved, the mosque is similar to the mosques in Jeddah Balad area because they were rebuilt or constructed in ottomon era.

Historical mosque situated at the heart of the city. Try to offer any salat there you will have some special feelings. There there is a fort nearby, built by Sultan Suleiman the magnificent.
