アーリフ砦は、ハイル市で最も古い歴史的建造物です。街を敵から守るために建てられました。サウジアラビアの統治の間、砦は月の目撃とラマダンでのイフタール大砲の発射に使用されました。最近、A'arifFortが遺産として観光客向けにオープンしました。
建築
アーリフ砦は、泥と粘土で造られた長方形の城です。雹の中心部に位置し、17世紀に建設されました。要塞は約440平方メートルの面積を占め、丘の頂上に戦略的に配置されているため、市内のどこからでも見ることができます。ジャバルイルフの頂上にある要塞からは、北部の街の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。
砦は、小さな中庭が正面玄関に通じている南側から門を通ってアクセスできます。要塞の中には、望楼、窓、住宅街、風呂、モスク、倉庫があります。
この城は、碑文が刻まれた大きな木製のドアによっても区別されます。観光客は城の頂上に登って街の鳥瞰図を見ることができ、農場、市場、そしてそれらを取り巻く地域を見ることができます。

As is the case with much of Saudi Arabia's sites of historical and archeological interest, the fort was firmly closed when I visited it at various times over two days.
Impressive seen from the outside, but very disappointing for those making a special trip to visit this and other sites in the kingdom.

One of Al Hail's historical site! Though we are not able to enter inside the old castle, because we came late but we appreciated it's strategic location. As you can see at my back, it's Hail's city and Samrah Park's overviewing!
