Nice place, the apartments are convenient and kept well cleaned and maintained. The staff were very nice and we were checked in by Tariq who seemed like a very well trained gentleman which is rare nowadays. Breakfast selection was really good and they serve very good coffee as well. Location is okay but most shops that show on the map are actually closed. The corridors as we wait for the elevator were sometimes hot and stuffy but the AC in the room was great. In 2 occasions I smelled smoke which was a bit strange for me as it was past midnight. I appreciated 2 little details, the channels guide and the blurred part of the window which allowed me to get sunlight without compromising my privacy also it prevents the curtains from having that crack that brings in an unwanted ray of sun too early in the morning. Over experience was really good.

Very good location and facility, however the saff handling the property are very young lacking exceperience to handle such hotel. I have reserved an exective one bedroom appartement in the 11th floor during check in it took too nuch time to check me in. after check in i was sleeping in my room and at 01:00 am in the morning someone was knocking at my door and i opened for him and he was the waiter with some luggages i asked him how can i help you he said he need to drop the luggages on my room i told him they are not mine and he insisted as hecwas directed by the reception and i called the receiption and he said it was by mistake as one of the customers he just checked in and he gave my room number to the waiter by mistake. Since i suffer a sleeping disorder i requested him to let the duty manager to call me and he was trying to give execuces but i insist to call the manager . After a while manager called me i explained to him the case and he responded litteraly( this is normal and it can happen) i told him i suffer from sleeping disorder and he said he is ready him to come upstar to my room to collect my luggages to check my out with no refund . I asked him his name and he said his name is Bader Rashad and he is the duty manager of the hotel. When i met him he was very young not more than 26 years old. This os my experence with ascot tahlia

What you expect from Ascott. The location is central, conveniently near to shops & resto. The rooms are spacious, bed and pillows are very comfy. Service is a pro, fluent in english & arabic. Breakfast buffet is perfectly varied not overwhelming. Pool on the top floor is adequate and i like their gym, small yet fully equipped. Id recommend this for a long term stay.

"A MUCH NEEDED BREAK" We stayed overnight in this hotel and i must say that everything was excellent. From accommodating staff, room is suprisingly comfortable, and the food? Perfecto! A good place to stay, especially in times where you just want to stay away from toxic people, heavy workload and burnout everyday. ? I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Truly deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating. PS. Really had a good sleep because of nice mattress they have, well compared to our accommodation somewhere in Jeddah. HAHAHA.
