Yesterday, my friends and I decided to go for Iftaar at Lishlaz, a restaurant we hadn't tried before.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome and led to our table. To our delight, a platter of Dates and Saudi Qahwa awaited us.
Before the Azaan, the starters began to arrive.
We were served Labnah, Hummus, and a hearty soup, although we found the soup to be a bit lukewarm for our liking.
Additionally, a sampler bowl featuring one beef samosa and one cheese samosa was presented, adding a delightful variety to our appetizers.
To complement these flavors, a refreshing Tabouleh Salad and a serving of Vimto were also served.
Shortly after Azan, the main course was served.
I had opted for the Brisket with white rice, although I later discovered that I could have chosen French fries instead.
Nevertheless, when the platter arrived, I was impressed. The Brisket was cooked to perfection—medium well, tender, juicy, and remarkably easy to chew. Each bite was a burst of flavor, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.
Overall, our experience at Lishlaz was delightful. The ambiance was pleasant, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious.
