Great location but everything else almost isn't great. Right in front of masjid al Haram so very easy to get to. There is a food court with lots of options just under this hotel. The rooms are dated. They had put two make shift beds to a twin room to make it a 4 bed room. Bed linen was bad quality for 3 star hotel even and wasn't changed during our stay. Bathroom door was broken and the hand shower leaked. Cleaning wasn't done on a daily basis unless you go and continuously ask them. Staff was polite though and happy to help. The breakfast was good enough especially the pastry selection. In summary good hotel but not worth the 1100 aed per night which I had to pay. Its not 5 stars , just 2-3 max if you stretch it.

The buffet is not worth it. The protein throughout 20 days stay here for breakfast is eggs (boiled or Omellette). Some days the other protein is nugget or beef patty - thats not even real protein. We contacted housekeeping multiple times throughout hajj stay, promised to come at certain time but nah, never turn up. Went to reception, but hard to speak English and everything will get the similar response: ask your group leader.

A story I had during my breakfast. We were out of strawberry jam. I saw the staff pushing a trolley of used plates and cutleries, asked him if he could top up some jam. He looked at me, looked at the dirty plates, saw an unopened strawberry jam, took it, and pass it to me. The packet still has some rice and gravy on it when I hold it, stunned. ---------------------------------- You have a great location. Please, do improve and maintain the service and cleanliness of your room. CLEAN, is sometimes enough to guarantee a pleasant stay.

Room and bath room are too small for 5 stars hotel. But understood this is old style hotel. Restaurant employees works without smile, they work noisy when take all stuff from tables (less hospitality) The 5 stars point is only for its location very close to Haram also there is Arabian traditional style market under the hotel. Laundry, barber shop and food court are available on the market

Still gives 2 stars as it is really near to Masjidil Haram and extremely convenient to perform ibadah Food - the foods are quite badly prepared in term of taste and same types of food almost everyday Cleanliness - the housekeeper did not mop the floor properly. They just poured the detergent on the floor without mop it again with water. As an outcome, the floor was slippery and hazardous The others in term of getting more sugars, mineral waters were quite okay. The quite generous. But, cleanliness is still my priority when staying in the hotel.
