Buraydah is our favorite city to rest on the way to or from Medina to Riyadh. Especially if we are traveling with parents. Actually, we already had the goal of staying at one of the chalets we'd visited before, but apparently it wasn't available and we were only able to check in after Asr. Not too surprised because it was the weekend and we came as a go show. We couldn't wait until Asr and tried to find another chalet around the area. And Alhamdulillah just around the corner we saw the door of this chalet was open and it looked like it was being cleaned. Friendly staff named Rakib, invited us to enter and see the condition of the chalet. And we immediately fell in love. Absolutely beautiful, well maintained and clean. We contacted the chalet owner to negotiate the price. Truly a very soft spoken and polite person. You have to bring your own toilettries and towels because they don't provide them and there's no microwave, other than that we think the facilities are quite complete. The water pressure in the bathroom is very good and there is hot water. We really enjoyed the time we spent here and InshaaAllah plan to come back again. There are mini markets and gas stations nearby, but when we visited they were closed and according to the officers they only opened after Friday prayers. We didn't see any restaurants in the area. It's difficult to find a mosque that holds Friday prayers there, but we found one in the opposite area, just follow the people walking to Friday prayers. The nearest hypermarket is about 15 minutes away by car. So prepare your supplies before checking in instead of having to go back and forth to buy food.
