Joudyan Hotel Riyadh

I recently had a very pleasant experience here and I’m planning to stay here every time I visit Riyadh. The location is great and you can go around the area walking. There are bicycles and scooters routes with some for rents. The rook is clean w high standards of housekeeping and service. The good thing that I liked is they bring your orders to your room, they have valet parking and they do not push you out at 12 sharp which I highly respected that. The only thing I wasn’t quite happy about is the time from the airport to the hotel which was 35 minutes.

My first impression was not very good because the receptionist refused to follow early check-in policy as stated in my reservation and charged me for the whole night. (( However, the concierge Joel made my stay in the hotel a pleasure. He helped me with everything, including moving to a quieter room, finding a stc office and an ATM and just the warmest welcome. As for the rooms - regular rooms are small, but quite comfy. Those, facing the street are a bit noisy, but not too much. Air conditioner is very quiet. Great sauna and jacuzzi. The pool lacks changing rooms and the water was cold. Breakfast was good - on 4 star level. All in all the hotel worth the money and with people like Joel it is a recommendation.

This is one really nice hotel… reasonably priced. Can’t go wrong. Also everything is nearby. It’s about 40 minutes from the airport. I personally had a very pleasant stay here.

This was my last-minute choice for a 3-day business trip. It was my first visit to Saudi so I had no comparison, whether it was value for money. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay, all looked brand new. Breakfast was something that exceeded my expectation. On the other hand, personnel could better speak English, but that is minor. Too many pillows on my bed made me crazy

Positive 1. Location is perfect. 2. Bed is comfortable. 3. Good parking space. 4. Room view is exceptional. 5. One of the elevators trapped me ( Number 3) and didn’t opened or move anywhere, however, I called the receptionist and they sent maintenance immediately to open it took less than 3 minutes. Negative: 1. Room was not clean ( toothpick in the window, some rubbish under the table, carpet never been vacuumed,some of hookah Tobacco in bathroom wall,…) 2. Room was stuffed with hookah (Shisha) smell 3. Smoke detector was covered with plastic ( Security issue) 4. I asked receptionist to change room immediately after checking in, but he didn’t and they promised to change soon. Then I asked the other receptionist morning and afternoon but unfortunately nothing done. 5. Television remote has no battery, and bath-glass-door was difficult to open or close ( fixed in the last night of my stay). 6. Very slow internet.
