Dara Hotel Qurtubah

-went to Riyadh to attend SEA Expo, decided to stay at Dara for the first time and I can say it is one of the cleanest and nicest hotels we have ever stayed in even better than 5 stars hotels. -rooms were clean tidy and staff were polite and helpful. -Location was great with many restaurants supermarkets and coffee shops within a walking distance. -gym was a bit basic but was ok for the business stay. Highly recommend

Not happy with the experience. For 2 weeks my room never got cleaned, I asked for cleaning service twice and they only brought me a fresh towel, leaving all the dirty one thrown on the toilet. Everything was covered with dust and the floor super dirty. Toilet paper or soap finished - always has to ask, nobody was checking it. Very thin walls I could hear how my neighbours switch the light on/off - extremely annoying especially in the night when you need to sleep. Could easily heard street noises as well and not to forget to be woke up before 5 with morning prayer on the speaker. Difficult to properly rest in the condition like that. People at the reception are nice, but no one speak even little English. Localisation is fine as it’s close to restaurants, title but more far to any market, but next to the busy road so it’s loud.

They are charging very high and when it’s come to service they are very bad. There was no water in the morning for two HR. I waited 2 HR to take a showers till that time. Housekeeping staff is very bad, no complementary water, you have to call to reception for water and wait for an HR to get response form reception and housekeeping staff to take an action. Very disappointed very pathetic service. I would not recommend anyone to stay in that hotel.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!! THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HOSPITALITY! IT IS 4:30AM AND WHEN I ARRIVED I FOUND OUT THEY SOLD MY ROOM. THE RECEPTIONIST COULDN'T CARE LESS. HE DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH AND HIS ATTITUDE WAS THE WORST EVER SEEN. THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS, SPARE YOURSELVES THE TROUBLE TO BE IN THIS PLACE To reply to the owner: SORRY BUT YOU CANNOT PUT THE BLAME ON OTHERS if you OVERBOOK AND DO NOT UPDATE SYSTEMS. ONLY EXCUSES I HEAR. THE LACK OF INTEREST AND BEHAVIOR OF YOUR RECEPTIONIST, THOSE ARE ON YOU
