Cristal Amaken Hotel

This was my third visit to this hotel, it's a beautiful hotel. Service is great and it has a lot going for it inside. With the swimming pool and gym available to guests from the morning until the evening. However as good as the food is, the desert section lets it down the most it's often dry because it's left out. Also with covid still prevalent it would be wise to cover things up and have a bin close by for accidents. The service is always good and the staff are very attentive if not sometimes too much. Overall I enjoyed my multiple stays at this hotel. It is in the middle of a busy carriageway and not much to do around the hotel but walk. Other than that it met my needs but can be better with some alternative options for longer stay visitor's.

Dropped in to attend an office luncheon, their open buffet in the Viewz restaurant. Entering to the reception you are welcomed by smiling and welcoming staff, in a contemporary set reception, openness of the place with plenty of natural daylight. I am usually not buffet food person, and I must say this has been one of the few good buffet lunch that I had in this region. A good buffet, to me, is the one with carefully selected limited menu so that you are sure you are eating the fresh stuff, and Viewz restaurant maintained that. Soup, salads, mains and desserts, all well balanced and tasty!

It is 4 stars hotel in 2nd industrial area Riyadh. Hotel reception hall is well decorated. Lunch buffet is ver limited 5/10 marks. The buffet includes below sections: 1. Soup and bread. 2. Fresh salads, yogurt, Russian salads and pickles, beans, jelepeno etc. 3. Bukhari rice with chicken, okra curry, humur fish, falafel, white rice, meat koftas, pasta. 4. Dessert includes um ali, custard, arabic desserts and fresh fruits includes water melon, melon, pineapple, banana. Buffet lacks alot of items especially No BBQ items like chicken tikka, chicken and beef seekh kabab, fish tikka, grilled fish, chicken malai boti, chicken bihari kabab, beef chapali kabab. Hotel needs alot of improvement in buffet. Men toilets have no lights and the one with light was quite dirty from inside. Overall rating of the hotel is 5.5/10.
