Al Mukhtara International Hotel

Room was pathetic. Quad room had space just for the beds. No place to keep your luggage. No place to even move around inside the room. Reception was irresponsive. Housekeeping had to be called multiple times to just get the room cleaned. Food for your kids wouldn't be warmed, if needed. No Laundry service inside the Hotel. The only good thing about the hotel was it's location. 5 to 7 minutes walk to gate 326 of Masjid e Nabawi

The most deceiving hotel interms of service & i’ll explain what I mean in this review. I will also be fair because there is some pros to the hotel such as its location being so close to Masjid Al Haram our beloved Prophet (PBUH) mosque I was able to easily navigate there multiple times for Taraweeh, Dhuhur any Salah. Also it was right beside the shopping mall & all the fast food spots like Al Baik, KFC, Dunkin Donuts. Another good thing is the wifi is amazing wow, with how busy the hotel is you’d think the wifi is slow, but its the fastest Wi-fi I have ever experienced, considering my hotel in Mecca had the worse wifi it didnt even work at all. Horrible. Now the negatives, theres NO AirConditioning in our room and the management was awful about finding a solution they kept sending clueless “repair” guys who would look at the temperature and leave this happened 3 times. The buffet experience.. I never seen a buffet where you get up for another plate and are asked to pay another additional 80SR haha no thank you, scam! BUSY- BUSY BUSY BUSY! You will be waiting atleast 10 minutes for an elevator and it will be full me and my brother had to take 13 flights of stairs!

Not recommended at all. Bads: Dirty carpets Leaking bathrooms No drinking water even after several requests. No tea. No coffee. No iron for pressing clothes. Officially they do not have it. Intercoms are out if order, you need to go to reception yourself to ask anything. Very old television and no batteries in the remote. No prayer mat in the room. Reception very slow and only one person. Goods: Close to Haram Slightly lower price than the rest of the hotels. Free parking

My time at the hotel left much to be desired. The rooms were way dirtier than expected, and the fridge had a not-so-pleasant moldy surprise. Although the lobby smelled heavenly, the rooms were a horror show. Oddly, when we asked about room availability, the receptionist claimed there were none, yet we found openings online. To top it off, room service only became an option on our last day after five nights. I'd personally suggest spending your money elsewhere for a more enjoyable stay.

Its lift system is very poor. They need to upgrade it. The lift stops almost at every floor before reaching the requested floor. You also have to wait at the ground floor for hours till your turn during the rush hours.the bathrooms are OK. They aren't upgraded but are clean. The rooms,I admit are luxurious with fridge and TV. The beds are comfy and the lighting is adjustable to your needs.The cleanliness is 3 stars in my opinion. This is me giving reviews during Ramadan(rush hour).
