Absolutely no acknowledgement of myself and my family when i first walked in, the 2 guys at the front desk came across very rude, although no words were actually spoken, a smile and a hello to your guests wont kill!
Secondly i booked a quadruple room, luckly before hand, the bell boy took me up to my room to have a look around, there was 5 beds bundled in a tiny room, the toilet had fruit flies in them, room was extremely airy and would make your claustrophobic side go off the roof. I went down told them 2 guys i wouldn't be able to stay in that room, response was you can cancell, thank Allah, ive been medina many times, so i straight away booked at a near by hotel Artal International, i stayed few weeks prior. Bear in mind i was with my wife and 2 young sons, so it could of been a big issue if i had not known medina very well. Despite the hotel being cheap, you still need to put some standards into place for your paying guests!
