What an incredible place for eating Peruvian Japanese food (one of my favorite fusions). The first impression of the restaurant wasn’t the best, no one was there to greet us at the door, and the restaurant was still empty.
You can either go for the buffet which cost 150.SAR per person for sushi or you can order from an open menu. Since I was craving Peruvian food, I went for the menu. the Peru-Maki was amazing, and the Seabass ceviche took me back to me Peru. The food was noticeably fresh. Both me and my partner enjoyed every bit of every order we had and we didn’t leave anything behind. I payed 556.SAR dinner for 2.
When my second waiter arrived (Abdu) the service game started to pick up, but i was almost done with my meal by then.
Overall this restaurant is a must try, not for the service or the ambiance, but for its amazing fresh food. I’m definitely coming to Koi again and hope that their food will always be this delicious.
