Last weekend I booked one night stay in two bedroom suite.. having 3 kids i am very much aware to:
- come after the stated check in time so I don’t have to wait in the lobby with a one year old child.
- be there before 4:00 swimming pool closes at 6:30 & since it’s a one night stay I only have these two hours available (morning it too hot for the kids)
Unfortunately this was one of my worst hotel experience.. they kept us waiting as the suite wasn’t ready till 6:15 pm
My kids started crying, I had no where to change nor feed them
Dining in was still not allowed then & restaurants are on take away mode only
Swimming pool was closed.. by the time we checked in it was sunset times.. even the view that I paid more for was a waste.. it went dark , the kids slept.
Following morning I called room service for a bottle of water & i will pay for it.. after waiting for one hour nothing was delivered
Room service guy was next door cleaning the room, I asked him for a bottle he says sorry call reception, i said i did one hour ago he replied sorry I can’t
My little girl started screaming right in front of him with no response
Eventually i called the elevator to go to the reception, another staff (local) was in .. I explained everything he reassured me to go back to the room & he will send me water.. which never happened!!!
It’s a shame for such a great place to be managed in this way
As expected... an auto reply with the same cold apology messages that go to everyone .. Hotel management continues the low performance.. just a small question:
Will the hotel accept if a guest stays in 3000 sr room, pays 1000 in cash & 2000 apologies?
This is exactly what you are doing.. taking our money & giving us apologies instead of compensations...
