Good location. Unbelievably overpriced. The vast majority of the staff are absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, there are a very few whose miserable attitude to guests spoil the place and undo all the positives of the good staff.
Food is overpriced, unimaginative and not very good.
The web site contains little information of any use and seems to be a forum for settling tribal disputes with its disclaimer about unsubstantiated reports.
Come on - focus on doing a good job, not milking the place for money. Surely this is not the Navajo way.

We have been planning to come to Monument Valley and stay at The View for a while. The hotel is super clean and the meals were so convenient. I see people here complaining about the food. The food was great and the convenience made it even better. The only meal we had to worry about on our own was lunch each day. They have many tours you can take of the park. And the location is unbelievable. We stayed in a 3rd floor SkyView room. Our room directly overlooked the 3 most famous buttes. The sunrises in the morning were spectacular and the stars at night were some of the best I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to come back.

The view from the rooms can only be experienced in person. No words can explain the magnificence of the view you get to experience of the Monument Valley from the room balcony. The staff and service is good. The restaurant inside the hotel has decent dinner food choice. The continental breakfast is average at best. If I am coming back to this part of the world, I would certainly be staying here. A noteworthy callout is for the beds. The bed was firm and not the soft kind. That meant I had the best sleep on the road, by far.

I’ll never forget the moment of my life at the Monument Valley. This is only hotel there and I could see breathtaking scenery from our room. I appreciate the nature on the earth and thank my boyfriend for booking the hotel. There were indigenous people’s culture cloth in my room and I loved it. Many traditional crafts at the lobby. I would like to go again.

I've been wanting to come here for some time now. The view from our room (and all rooms) is just amazing! The people are very helpful and the food is very good in the restaurant too. Now I'm not saying this hotel is like a fancy resort hotel - it's not. What it is, is a very nice location hotel. We didn't come here to stay in a fancy resort hotel - we came to experience nature and God's wonderful creation! The hotel is perfect for the environment it's in. Rooms are clean, service is wonderful and the views. You need to see these views! Beautiful.
