Went there twice, once with family last Ramadan and the other one with work colleagues. The food is top notch and the service we experienced were fairly average and can be significantly improved. Also tried to come a third time but found no near parking so I had to leave for another place.
I never stayed at the hotel so my judgment can be incomplete. So 4 out of 5.

Great hospitality in Ramadan Iftar, the food and services were great. Lovely place for families and friends (they had a ruffle game, it make it fun)
Besides all the good quality dishes, I’d recommend their Arabic coffee it’s PERFECT (please tell me your recipe/ingredients if you see this Sofitel).
Time well spent, thank you.

Awesome hotel with a superb view of sea. the location of the hotel is perfect and staff behavior is great. During our stay, one of the concierge staff members Mr. Shabeer made our stay very comfortable. His assistance throughout our stay was excellent and talks very politely. Thank you once again Mr. Shabeer for the excellent services

We were informed by Chef Mariam about the Thursday Buffet. We came yesterday and it was an amazing experience. To start with, Chef Mariam was warmly welcoming us, as if we know her since a long time, making us so comfortable. Secondly, the food was amazing, with excellent variety and neat taste. In addition, the atmosphere was exciting with the good service and the band/ singer, and of course without forgetting Chef Mariam passing by tables to make sure all guests are having an enjoyable experience.
Overall, great experience, mostly due to Chef Mariam. Will definitely come back.

Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche is a 5 star hotel in Al Khobar. It’s 6 minutes walk from the Al Khobar's Corniche seafront promenade, and 7 km from the King Fahd Grand Mosque. The food was great and the crew were so kind. Very nice room and a beautiful sea view. Rooms are very big and spacious. Rooms offer flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, plus in-room safes and tea and coffee making facilities. Upgraded rooms and suites have access to a club lounge. 24/7 room service provided. Other amenities include outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, 2 restaurants etc.
