Reef chalets

The place wasn’t too bad however the customer service or ppl in charge they were kinda bad I had to stay one more hour after checkout cuz it was needed but don’t allowed me only one hour I think that’s rude..

Beautiful place. Will definitely come back. We needed a break and we chose the right one this time. Georgeous front beach ovetlooking another island. Serene and peaceful. Acoomodation was comfortable and clean. Most of all its the service. Very hospitable. Hope to be back soon.

The place is nice, but unfortunately we can't swim in the sea just in front of us, because of the coral reef. You have to go to an other beach (at 5min by walk). We had a chalet with AC, it was much appreciate, bed was confortable, bathroom was basic but enough for us. Unfortunately the water is not complimentary, you have to buy on the shop next to the resort (5MYR the bottle of 1L, you have to planned this on your budget). Also there is no restaurant, but you can find several on the different resort on this island. The staff was nice and answered to all our questions. We did a snorkelling trip organized by them and it was awesome!

Great place to stay during your trip. The view is amazing and is right next to the beach. Although the power sometimes goes out and there is no hot water for your shower it's still a nice place to stay. The wifi however depends on the location of your room. The closer your room is to the check in area, the better the wifi is.

Amazing stay at Garden view room at The Reef with three small kids. Purposely booked this chalet to experience real beach life, and The Reef definitely served it. The staff were so polite and friendly, not to forget the over-friendly squirrel (so mind your food! ?). The chalet were clean and as advertised. You have to bring your own mosquito repellent, because the mosquito are wild. But that was expected since we stay in an island, that were their habitat. Bathroom can be improved, as the toilet became clogged. There were mini mart and restaurant near to chalet, and another one in Mama's chalet, and Coral View as well. We also went to Long Beach via boat taxi (RM10/pax) one way to had dinner and lunch the next day. So estimated RM25 per pax for each mealtime. If you're on budget, can order to receptionist, they could offer RM5/meal, but you have to order early as they deliver it from somewhere else. As for activities, we went to snokerling, windmill hiking, kayaking, watched fireshow, stargazing and eat eat eat. Overall, if you wish for an awesome and relaxing stay, The Reef might be suitable for you as it located in Perhentian Besar. We extended our stay to four days and it was the best decision ever. They had online transfer option now. so dont worry if you did not bring enough cash. Few shop also have qrpay as well.
