A very disappointing check-in. As our hired vehicle stopped infront of the premises the security guard started yelling and screaming. Once, we came in the staff at the reception did not know how to charge a credit card and asked for local currency in the amount of SAR601. In actuality the booking was made for $136, equivalent to SAR510. No receipt was given. The room booked was a delux room with a child bed and a city view. We were given a room with two single beds, a leaky sink in the bathroom and the hallway wall with spilled coffee marks. A very disappointing start with poor wifi connection. I am very aggravated and demand some sort of compensation. Awaiting for you to get it corrected.

Bad experience! Not recommended at all. Very dirty, and the card was not working. We were unable to open our room for two days, and we had to ask for service to use their Master key Unprofessional service team and reception.

There was a receptionist named MONSUR is an absolutely bad guy. He shouldn’t be there. His behaviour mad my trip full of sadness.

Rooms are clean while check_in but not prompt on daily cleaning. Calls are being ignored.

Lamar is a 3 star hotel in Makkah. It’s 3 km from the Grand Mosque of mecca. Hotels have Warm rooms and airy suites featuring flat-screen TVs, safes, free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee making. Good hotel, nice staff. They provide shuttle to drop and pickup from Haram. The breakfast is good.
Other amenities include restaurant, spa and meeting rooms.
