Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel

They don't have any parking for guests or visitors. They only have 11 parking spots for the whole hotel and one of them is a handicapped spot! The underground parking is closed and I believe they have it rented to a nearby company. Some places are really dated although they are undergoing some renovation on the groundfloor. Due to the renovation, we were hearing the drilling and hammering from the 5th floor which is disturbing to guests and visitors. The lunch was below average and the selection is tiny!

Extremely disappointed I chose the hotel as it now pops up on IHG group mobile app (it joined a month ago) so thought to give it a go. Arrived at the hotel quite late (1am) after a such long day. Receptionist wasn’t there, later on he turned up without any “welcome”, “thanks for waiting”,.. etc. Took him sometime to find my name, although the hotel seemed really vacant M. Also no instructions given on anything, breakfast etc. There were people meanwhile heavily cleaning the lobby area whilst others are working on the new hotel extension. I had noticed this and the level of service and requested receptionist right away to cancel my other night. A few hours later at 8:10am on a Friday (ie weekend), I woke up from some construction work noise and never managed to sleep. Room telephone barely dials and spent time trying to reach out someone at the hotel. Room service options are limited to 1 food order. Room wasn’t really clean. Honestly, surprised and not surprised the hotel is an IHG member

The worst experience ever. I have made my reservation and it was confirmed, but when I have arrived they told me "we are over booked" and simply said "we can't help you and look for another hotel" knowing that I have had a 4 hour road trip.

It’s becoming the oldest hotel in khobar i went there for iftar in Ramadan’s very poor service they didn’t have Ramadan traditional food I won’t come again.
