位置和历史
穆拉巴历史宫，也被称为 Qasr al Murabba，在阿拉伯语中意为“广场”，位于沙特阿拉伯利雅得。准确地说，它位于利雅得老城以北两公里处，距离马斯马克堡垒约半英里。
历史
众所周知，这座宫殿是在旧城墙外建造的第一座建筑，最初由被称为现代沙特阿拉伯创始人的阿卜杜勒阿齐兹国王建造。始建于1936年，于1945年结束。在建造时，宫殿是作为国王家族和朝廷的居住地而建造的。截至目前，它是该市的博物馆之一。

Some hero-worshipping of past King - but also showing him as a normal, frail person (walking stick, thick glasses, ...) which is rather sweet. Amazing family tree (literally), fun collection of great vintage cars, prayer beads taken up the space shuttle, traditional weapons (the swords are nothing as good as the Japanese, though, sorry ...)

Re-live the history.
Very nice feeling of visiting the place where the King stayed. It's preserved very well. Some of the artefacts, one must go and see. It's an amalgamation of modern and the classic.

One of the interesting places around Riyadh - a repository of artifacts and historical records of the Kingdom. Every tourist should not miss out this palace. Open spaces inside the palace is also an attraction; also good for picnic and gathering of families and friends. It's an awesome spot for weekend leisure, especially for the kids. ?
