Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Aziziyah

It’s a lovely modern hotel having all the facilities required to make your stay a pleasant one. No doubt the facilities of any hotel are important but having good facilities without well trained staff is futile. The main reason I have stayed at this hotel multiple times is because of two lovely gentleman that go above and beyond, to ensure you have a please stay. These two individuals are Miraj (bell boy) and Masum Rana who is part of the night shift house keeping team. Both are a credit to the team at Park Inn.

My second stay here with family in the Superior Guest Room. Not only the two-seater sofa converts into bed but the other single-seater sofa also serves as a sofa-cum-bed. The customer engagement/manager proactively called and checked if we needed anything in the room, any service request was immediately addressed and provided. This is something we've experienced for the first time and quite impeccable. This is one of the best hotels to stay in the holy city of Makkah. Room air-conditioning, cleanliness and comfort all are good as well as the bathroom cleanliness and modern design. Breakfast has variety and I'll rate it 8 out of 10. We can definitely consider staying here again.

The rooms were very clean. There was room service every day, and if you called the reception from your own room with the phone for anything you needed, they got it in 5 minutes to your room. They were also very modern and luxury. The staff was extremely friendly and was always ready to help if there was a problem. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was okay. The advantage of the included breakfast was that you didn't have to go outside to order breakfast, and the breakfast was always warm. The tables and everything were always very clean too. There was also a very big gym and a space for children. The gym was very clean and there was a separate gym for women and men. The gym for women was smaller than the men's gym, but it didn't matter because not many people use the gym. Some people are complaining about the shuttle service, but the bus was always on time and dropped us on a perfect location, 10 minutes walk from the entry of the Al-Haram Mosque. And even if it's 5 minutes late because of the traffic, it's literally free, so why complain about it? Better than daily paying a taxi to get you to the Al-Haram mosque. The manager also paid us a visit when we were checking out, that was very nice too. PS: If you are searching for gifts or oud, go to the shop of the hotel, it's cheaper than the other shops in the Haram area etc. The shopkeeper is very nice too. I recommend this hotel very much.

Although the rooms are luxurious and spacious, the service is absolutely horrible. Calling in for an extra blanket or water is a nightmare, it takes hours for them to get our requests and mulitple calls. There is insufficient number of towels and health kits, no bathroom slippers, no hair dryer (unless requested, which is a nightmare).

Great overall but could do with keeping an eye on quality/servicing of rooms. We had several faults in our room [ 95% blocked sink & shower waste] loose towel rack, faulty drawer etc] which where fixed very promptly once reported. Another frustration faced was having to request additional towels each day to cater for all persons staying. Otherwise great restraunt/lobby staff and fantastic hotel.
