We stayed in Dara Al Hamra in May 2023 after our Umrah trip to Madinah and Mecca. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that has a separate kitchen, living room and 2 separate bathroom. The washing machine is a bonus too. AC works well...water pressure good, the kitchen is equipped with kitchen utensils...pots, pans, dinnerware, cutleries, full size fridge...facility is clean, within walking distance to corniche, restaurants, grocery...everything was working perfectly for us until our very last day when the hotel run out of water!!! Even after the water was delivered, something was wrong with their water pump and still no water in the faucet. One of the reception guy brought a big big water container for us to use for dringking, body cleansing and wudu. Although we appreciate this effort, water amount was not enough for us to use for all the things that we need to do. We can't really take a shower, do number 2? and wash the dishes we used that morning of our last day. They were very apologetic about it. Anyhow, save for this water fiasco, I would still recommend this place for lodging when in Jeddah. It is really great value for your money.
