A lovely, informative exhibition. Located directly opposite Masjid Al Nabawi; access via gate 7 of haram. The entry was free when we visited in 2016, but they have now started charging a fee.

Ok so this is not the right location. It's just right in front of gate 7. The graphics are too good and tour guide had information. I took a tour guide in Urdu but he just repeated the words like reading a document. Didn't coordinate with us we'll. They created a huge group of people with one tour and women with men were getting touched. They should minimize the group to 10 cap 5 women 5 men, end of story. Also the tour guide didn't allow us to touch the technologies so why did I pay? Ummm, good one but not recommended for people who got a huge family and thinking to spend lumpsum at one time. Fees is 15 sar

Positives -Affordable with tickets costing 15 Riyals -Clean with AC- so nice place to get out of the heat whilst still learning and taking in the history -Not crowded -Informative -Tours provided in different languages Negative -There are computerised visual displays. However some of them were not working - For English and Arabic speakers there isn't a person guiding the tour but it's auditory presentations from the display - There are personal devices to listen to the tour but this is not consistently given out. We asked about the tour and were just told to read the displays but another person that came after us received it. So this aspect is not very well organised. There were two people at the front one didn't understand because he didn't speak English and the other was more interested in his phone than providing customer service and told us just to read the display. The personal devices might have made the exhibition more interesting but I guess we will never know. We could have gone through it again with the device (not that this was offered) but the exhibition is not that interesting to go through it twice.
