Really enjoyed our stay. Note that if you want to avoid heavy crowds go at least 30 minutes early for prayer and wait 30 minutes after prayer to return to the hotel. We found taking the Safa bridge to the right as you head out of the hotel to enter the Haram through the entrance to Sa'i was much calmer, less crowded. If you have an elderly person or wheelchair there is an elevator as well as escalators if you follow the path under As-Safa bridge. There are also escalators in the square extension to the right of King Abdul-Aziz gate.

Staff attitude in this hotel definitely needs to be improved. They are used to big groups in this hotel so don't have much attention to detail for individual travellers. Ordered a salad from the lobby cafe. It tasted "off" - maybe not stored properly - I told them to take it as I didn't want to become ill with a stomach ache. They argued about it - I told them I will pay for it but please don't serve it to customers as you could make them ill. Customers don't want a warm soggy salad.

Unhelpful front desk, off putting attitude, rooms overpriced, plug socket not working, poor internet connection, toilet leaking, tv poor reception, have to write review on mobile ? Hotel is not definitely is not a 5 star level - this is a 2-3 star hotel. Hotel needs new management. For the same price you can get better rooms in the Clock Tower complex. Parking more expensive then Clock Towers Positives: location, prayer room

We stayed here during our stay in Makkah. Firstly, the hotel is located in Al Safwah Towers. So this makes access from outdoors to the hotel a bit more complicated, as the towers have like three different hotels and various stores. However, it’s not far from the Al-Haram. The rooms itself were not of 5* quality, bathrooms were very outdated and not clean. The buffet breakfast was very delicious and lots of tasty food options, which was lovely.

The hotel is second to none in terms of location to the haram. Facilities are excellent. Staff are helpful and responsive. Lifts are plentiful so you're not waiting around at salaah time. Abraj mall under the hotel has lots of food places and other shops so you're not easting time going to get things. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good views of haram. Alhamdulillah we got 3 rooms together with connecting doors which made it really easy with parents and children. Special thanks must be given to Hasan (Guest Relations) as he went above and beyond in helping us. Any issues we had we knew he was a mere phone call away to help us sort it out. I stayed here 3 months ago with friends and returned again with a family of 13 because of the excellent service we received from hasan and the hotel. Would try to stay at this hotel next time for sure and would be the first hotel i recommended in Makkah to anyone else.
