Description

The Moghul Room offers classical and contemporary North Indian cuisine. Situated at the lobby level of the Oberoi Hotel in Madina, just a few meters from the Prophet’s Mosque (Peace Be Upon Him). The Moghul Room offers exquisite Indian cuisine beside breathtaking views of the Plaza of the Prophet’s Mosque.

Its Chefs will delight you with a selection of Tandoori and Curry specialties. The restaurant consists of a large hall divided into two sections. In the most spacious of them, you can watch from your table as the Chef handcrafts delicacies in the tandoor ovens. The other section has a large window overlooking Al Masjid Al Nabawi. This restaurant also has a screened private dining room to share food with your family and friends in complete privacy. The Moghul room is a restaurant that will delight all lovers of fine Indian cuisine.

I figured it was a traditional Indian restaurant but it ended up being a hotel buffet with different ethnic dishes. If you’re not staying at the hotel, you are charged more. Overpriced and not a dine in restaurant. The only thing is you have a beautiful view of the masjid but any hotel in that vicinity would have it as well.
