Description

OKKU is a fine dining Japanese restaurant that provides a luxurious atmosphere. Upon entering the restaurant, there is an amazing display of Samurai statues. The ambiance invites you to feel as though you are stepping into a museum fitted with Japanese artwork and artifacts. You will feel the luxurious atmosphere of this restaurant in the dining area with its comfortable and relaxing seating.

The restaurant offers a variety of Japanese dishes with amazing authentic Asian flavors, from their delicious Robata sesame ribeye steak to the flavorful Hushishu salad. The detailed and innovative matter in which the items are prepared is not only delicious but provides a feeling of being in the heart of a fine-dining Japanese restaurant. The menu also includes maki sushi, nigiri, sashimi, crispy crab gyoza, ebi tempura, miso salmon teriyaki, spicy prawn salad, and chili miso chicken yakiniku. Their drink menu is also impressive, with visually stunning cocktails and authentic Asian teas.

The restaurant is located in one of the more popular districts in Riyadh -Al- Olaya on a street that is bustling with exciting culinary experiences known as Tahlia.

I am giving it a 4 ⭐️ only because it took us an hour before we could be served with our orders! If not for this mishap It would’ve been a 5⭐️. Foods are absolutely mouthwatering. Pricey but worth your every penny. Ambience of the restaurant is good. The giant bell is the scene stealer. One for the books.

It was a nice and fun experience at Okku. You’ll get to feel a different vibe the moment you enter the resto till you eat the last strip of noodles. Quiet pricey but definitely worth it. We ordered Prawn Noodles and Yasai Noodles, they were really great. We also tried Dynamite Prawn Maki and its’s heaven. Staff are really attentive and the whole dining experience is beyond five star. Kudos!?

The food is delicious and the vibes are wonderful everything is authentic and a great place to have lunch and dinner. I would recommend it to all sushi lovers and Japanese cuisine.

Honest review. I will start with the food directly, the food is heavenly delicious, the sushi is tasty. The fried calamari is one of the best in Riyadh usually restaurants make a mistake and makes it too oily. The service is 5 stars and the waiters are very polite and organized they know how to serve in a luxury restaurant thanks to Melvin he was super organized and helpful with the choices. Lastly the location is great. The decorations and atmosphere were superb I like the second floor has a unique design and it’s more chill ????. Totally recommend this place.
