Ohayou is a fusion brunch restaurant in Riyadh offering a little bit of everything for everyone. This restaurant is small but cozy and bustling with eager foodies for early morning and afternoon treats. As you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted by staff for seating arrangements. With a modern yet homely feel, this restaurant features accent mirrors along the walls and abstract designs on the ceilings.
As you begin to browse the menu, you will notice a unique mixture of cuisines. This includes Japanese, American, and Arabic, all showcasing signature dishes and flavors. From the traditional American items such as pancakes, French toast, and an egg Benedict all the way to having a Japanese rooted Hawaiian experience with Poke, your taste buds won't be disappointed.
The salmon Poke bowl, in particular, was delicious. This item was served with mixed vegetables and roasted salmon over sushi rice. The Ohayou sliders with beetroot buns were delicious and filled with a really flavorful beetroot spread. Another interesting dish was the 1up omelet. This fluffy egg option comes with sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions with a side of perfectly toasted bread. Other menu items include watermelon salad, manakeesh, pistachio pancakes, beef tataki, and a slow-roasted brisket sandwich. Their dessert menu also looks very impressive, with items perfect for sharing.
This restaurant can be found in the district of Hittin on Prince Turki Bin Abdulaziz Street.
