Description

Mumtaz is an authentic Pakistani restaurant in Makkah. The food is very good, including chicken karahi, mutton karahi, chicken biryani, mixed daal, masala mutton, and many more Pakistani dishes to eat. They have desserts as well, including gulab jamun, falooda, kheer, and more. Sargodha also serves breakfast, including naan, nihari, cholay, and more.

The atmosphere is nice and calm. They have a single section and a family area as well. They have a kids' play area. Mumtaz restaurant is located near the Mina Arafat area and very close to Makkah mall, King Abdullah Rd, Al Jamiah, Makkah.

Went there for dinner. They served lamb krahi. It was etremely cold.and after serving they vanished from there. We waited for long time. After 25 or 30 minutes they came with the excuse it was nmaz time and thats why we were closed. We were sitting on the back building where families sit. It was not good experience.

We order mutton, bryani and vegetable. Mutton came with bad smell you can't eat. Bryani was not good at all. Vegetable was good taste.

Food dish is Indian Pakistan type. Very aromatic and mouth watering food. But place is congested and lag decent dine experience. Service is OK, not something special. Price is relatively affordable compared to other restaurant. One time visit is a must.

A Pakistani restaurant which offers desi food. Prices are low. One of the very few options of Pakistani food in Makkah, usually very busy with customers, not good atmosphere for family. You will find regular Pakistani meal here.

The food was delicious, I recommend the lamb karahi and the grilled meat. The family seating area has a separation (kind of like a dividers between each table) and servers knock before entering your space. The customer service was commendable, our waiter was nice. Overall, very satisfied by this experience.
