Description

Manahi Restaurant is one of the best Arabic food restaurants in Jeddah. They opened their first branch in Jeddah and the second branch in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. Manahi is famous because they make Mandi in its traditional way. The main technique which differentiates Manahi from other restaurants is that the meat is cooked fresh three times a day to maintain the taste in the tandoor (taboon in Arabic), which is a special, traditional and original way. They use a special kind of oven which is usually a pit dug into the ground and covered with clay all around its sides. It is a traditional modern restaurant that offers excellent taste and service. They have the best traditional rice restaurant in Jeddah.

They offer a traditional seating area as well as dining tables. They have space for parties and for families who want privacy. The restaurant consists of two floors. The ground floor is for Take-away orders and the first floor is divided into two parts for families & for singles. They have traditional Middle Eastern fare and to-go dishes inspired by Arabic food. They serve Mandi, sleeg, Zerubian, and more. Their laham mandi was excellent and decadent, it was loaded with choice cuts of meat and sprinkled with onions and raisins. The meat was slightly dark and the outside had been roasted to a darker tinge.

This beautiful restaurant is located on Hira Street,  Al-Zahra District, Jeddah.

It is good place to have lunch or dinner , they offered laham /chicke Mandi, Madgot ,kunafa etc. Mandi /Kunafa Taste are good and considered a best item of resturant. However , they don't prepare madgot in large quantity so it is hard to find it. Sitting place for singles and families are available on 1st floor. Parking can be found on the left and right side street of the resturant.

I first heard about "Saleeg" many years ago and I've never really looked into it since then. It finally popped up the other day when I was looking for local cuisines in the Western Region and I knew exactly what I had to do. Saleeg (Arabic: سليق‎ Hejazi pronunciation: [saˈliːg]) is a white-rice dish, cooked in broth, milk and butter that originates in Hejaz region in the west of Saudi Arabia, where it is commonly regarded as a national dish of the region. The flavours are subtle, creamy thanks to the milk & butter. The spicy tomato sauce is a good addition to the rice but the chicken cooked in stock does the trick. A must have if you are in the WR. #FoodwithShayne
