Description

Located at the far end of Nawaf Square on Anas Ibn Malik Road, Al Malqa, Lost is a fairly new addition to the coffee scene in Riyadh. The cafe opened in 2019 and has seen a lot of success in the last 2 years and continues to provide all its customers with a lot of quality and comfort.

The Lost menu has a pretty typical food selection; a line of coffees, iced beverages, desserts, and fancy cakes. Purchases happen over the counter in this place, although table service can be requested if you find yourself having trouble with your order. 

The cafe’s interior helps tone down the energy from the outside movement; with dimmed lights and a large blossom tree at the center, the cafe really comes in handy for those looking to take a break from their schedule and enjoy a light treat.

If you find yourself in the surrounding areas and need a quick coffee, be sure to visit Lost and enjoy sitting either within their cozy interior or feeling the breeze on the small terrace out front.

Coffee 3/10 Desserts 6/10 Ambiance 6/10 Location 7/10 Study/Work Friendly 5/10 Staff Friendliness 5/10 This is another café that tries to present fine café experience and I personally not a big fan of that The espresso wasn’t made right and it had this burnt overpowering taste with earthy after taste. The milk in the latte/flat white was over-steamed and you can barely recognize the natural sweetness There was many desserts options and they were overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for the quality I had high hopes when I saw the setup especially with a powerful machine such as the Kees van der Westen spirit. I sensed a lack of motivation to serve quality from my barista but it could be just a bad day for him and I just happened to be there that day I still can’t put my finger at the reason why a café that doesn’t serve anything “fine” sells water in a glass bottle for 5 SAR or so! Many places have even adapted free-water policy especially if you’re dining in

I used to love this place but I did really Lost My Joy with this Coffee Shop on my visit today because they said they cannot let us stay or sit inside because we are not allowed for the very reason that we are not Saudi… I really feel sick to my stomach because i never thought that extreme racism still exist… Good Thing there are still a lot of Coffee Shops in Riyadh … that is very inclusive….

Waited for midnight strike to welcome my 40th. It is 24hrs! Jampacked wow! Everyone was so friendly. This complex where the coffee.shop is , absolutely filled with people ...for a small space wow!
