Description

Lazy Masoub is a traditional Arab food restaurant based in Jeddah. The restaurant offers Saudi street food with a contemporary twist. It is inspired by the banana carts found in downtown Jeddah, the eatery's name refers to a traditional dish made of mashed banana and chopped saj pie, topped with honey or cream and usually eaten as a dessert.

The restaurant's signature masoub dish is served with a variety of toppings and extra banana, mango, strawberry, avocado, and nuts. They also offer a range of authentic Saudi recipes with international and Middle Eastern touches including masoub konafa, foul baba, mutabbaq trio pepperoni, and liver tacos. The food is served in Korean stone and pottery bowls and on plates with dried ice fog adding to the presentation.

The seating area is nice and spacious, and the restaurant is clean and tidy. In addition, the decor is nice and elegant. Lazy Masoub is located on Arid Ibn Mahshi road, district Al Zahra, Jeddah.

One of the best breakfast and brunch places in Jeddah. it’s not a big place but the food is amazing. I’ve been here for couple of times. masoub with ice cream is a creative dessert! however the stairs are too dangerous for toddlers, the fence is to wide.

First time trying masoub, so we went with the original version. Very tasty and definitely enough to share between two people. I liked the texture variation between the crunch of the toppings, candied banana, and soft cream. Even though they were closing soon after we arrived, the kind Yemeni guy working the register allowed us to go eat upstairs, and seemed very warm and friendly. I would go back if i found myself in Jeddah again.
