Description

Founded in 1947 and named after the founder’s daughter, La Romana started out as a small town center shop in the historical city of Rimini in Italy. Today the Gelato parlor has spread its name to many different parts of the world, including Riyadh.

La Romana serves ice cream and desserts with the finest quality ingredients; the parlor has maintained the same authentic style of preparation and taste. At first glance, the interior matches perfectly with the mind’s idea of the ideal color theme for a parlor - soft grey walls accompanied by beige counters and furnishing. Although the glass display has the ice cream hidden beneath lids, each flavor can still be viewed and sampled upon request. 

The triple scoop is a favorite at Romana, but the ice cream shop also sells cakes, crepes, and coffees. If you want a taste of Italian Gelato at its finest, you can find La Romana dal 1947 within The Zone on Takhassussi Street.

Delicious gelato ?? The best is dark chocolate gelato. Vanilla was too sweet I didn’t like it. overpriced 22 SR for small cup/biscuit!

Feel fresh and icy during summer peak time. We ordered iced latte, vanilla, chocolate and strawberry gelato, fruit yoghurt and its mouthwatering iced after getting exposed by direct sunlight. Nice and quiet place with supportive staff. Recommended place during summer.

Truly a magical experience.....one of the best hot chocolates I've had!!! Thick and truly heart filling.... Waffles are superb as well and but if must end on a high note then look no further than their signature gelato flavours... absolutely gob smacking and unique flavours. Thanks NAWAZ for serving us with all the great food and enhancing our first experience

Truly hot chocolate! Thick and not loaded with sugar ?? Great for its price! The crepe was also very delicious. The batter was light and there was no egg smell (important in my criteria)
