Description

Kumare is a restaurant with Indian specialties with a twist in a sophisticated hotel eatery featuring a terrace. It is a cozy place with an attractive atmosphere. They have very delicious and authentic food. In addition, they have a great staff and clean restaurant.

They have all the famous Indian dishes like meat Biryani special, Mixed Grill, Fish Masala Sizzling, Kumar Special Soup, and many more great dishes to eat. They have desserts as well like gulab jamen, kulfi and kheer, and more. You must try their Afghani tandoori chicken; the spices were especially well balanced.

The interior was remarkable and the ambiance was perfect. There is a separate area for singles and families. There is enough space for car parking as well. Kumar restaurant is located on Abdul Maqsud Khojah road, district Ar Rawdah, Jeddah.

The ambience is nice I enjoyed the food very nice temperature and spice… being of pakistani Origen I would say the best original flavor were the Mumbai puffs… short rib biryani was much better then the chicken biryani even though both were good… mutton masala was amazing… Will go again… recommended restaurant… enjoyed

Starting with the place as usual : Not that big yet not too small No partition’s No reserved parking for visitors Except the music and the restaurant name nothing refers to India’s vibe or culture. 6/10 The food : Vege samosa’s Cheese samosa’s Portion : good two big pieces of each. Flavor: good nothing special Price: 20-26 worth it 7/10 Red tendoori chicken bits Portion: small almost 5 cubes of chicken. Flavor: good Price: 35 worth it 7.5/10 Signature butter chicken Portion: small Flavor: ok nothing special Price: 58 not worth it 7/10 Small chicken biryani’s Small short ribs biryani’s Portion: small Flavor: the rice was soggy , nothing special Price : 53-90 not worth it Garlic naan and cheese naan Portion: good Flavor: good Price : 10-15 worth it Including3 drinks the total was 342 ryals Overall: I had high expectations about this restaurant, but unfortunately wasn’t that much in both experience vibes nor flavor.

Visit was 3 weeks ago. Honestly didn’t find the food amazing but quite ordinary relative to other Indian restaurants. Infact the vegetarian biryani was terrible. Too many carrots that destroyed all flavor. Lamb kebab were ordinary. Only the chicken tikka cubes were good.
