Description

Chocolate Lounge is one of the most amazing places for coffee and desserts in Makkah. It is located inside the Sheraton Hotel close to Al Masjid Al Haram. It is a very nice cafe that is quiet and beautiful. The cafe has comfortable chairs and seats with great decorations. The colors are relaxing and the atmosphere is very friendly and bright. Its tranquility takes you to a second world.

They have cheesecakes, carrot cakes, honey cakes, and more. In addition, they have hot and cold drinks like latte, coffees, cold chocolate, and many more drinks. It is located in the Sheraton Hotel on the Ground Floor, Jabal Al Kaaba, close to the Shaza Hotel in Makkah.

We had a great stay in the hotel, it was really pleasant. All the service is top notch. A big mention for the valet Mohammed Edris, he was really attentive to our needs, super friendly and smiling, and the work he did in our rooms was impeccable. If I were to return to Mecca one day, I'd definitely stay at this hotel.

The falafel for breakfast was delicious. The arabic coffee served at the lobby was exceptional. The cleaning staff did a great job at keeping the room and bathroom spotless. Besides all the positives, I would still never recommend this hotel to even my enemy as I had booked a double room with king size bed but was given a twin room with a half hearted apology. I had specifically booked the hotel instead of many other attractive options just for double bed. And the day was our anniversary. We had to sleep with a lamp between our heads. Charging the customer for something and giving something else is just not right. Did not expect this from a brand like Sheraton. You have just lost a customer for ever.

My experience, we booked for single bed and without even saying that room is not available for the moment they gave us double bed room, for single bed we pay extra …bathroom was not cleaned properly and no adaan 5 times in hotel.

800 m from Haram feels like 1200m because building is on top of a steep slope. Twin room is small in size and the sheets provided were not clean...rooms carpet also had hair left. Changed room flush worked occasionally of its own will.

Everything was perfect and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived at the property, the attentive staff greeted me with warm, friendly smiles. Big thanks to all of them especially: Rageh Abdullah, Security Supervisor, Mehdi Al Hudhali and all the wonderful restaurant staff. The hotel's proximity to the Haram made its location really excellent for me. In addition, the presence of a bridge connecting the hotel to the new expansion of the campus increased the factor of convenience and ease of access.
