Baladi restaurant is famous for making Mandi in its traditional way. The main technique which differentiates Baladi from other restaurants is that the meat is cooked fresh three times a day to maintain the taste in the tandoor (taboon in Arabic), which is the special, traditional, and original way. It is a traditional modern restaurant that offers excellent taste and service. It is truly the best traditional rice restaurant in Jeddah. In addition, they offer a traditional seating option known as Khayma (tent).

They have space for parties and for families who want privacy. The restaurant consists of two floors and a roof. The ground floor is for take-away orders and the first floor is for families and singles. The roof is for parties/big families.

They offer traditional Middle Eastern fare and to-go dishes inspired by Arabic food. The Mandi was decadent and loaded with choice cuts of meat that were sprinkled with onions and raisins. The meat was slightly dark and the outside had been roasted to a darker tinge. The outer portion of the meat had some real flavor and the fat from the meat too was a great add-on to the rice. The lamb mandi and kunafa are the best. 

The staff is really nice and helpful. Mr. Salim (manager) was really nice and helpful and was professional in communicating and coordinating with customers. This restaurant is highly recommended for the traditional and original taste of mandi. This beautiful and attractive restaurant is located on Prince Majid Rd, Al-Safa, Jeddah.
