Description

Agate is without a doubt one of the trendiest restaurants in Medina. Its fine international cuisine and its large room with a view overlooking the Hijrah Walk mean that some evenings the restaurant is full and you will not be able to get a table if you do not have a reservation.  Access to the restaurant is on the side of the building via an elevator that will take you to the third floor where a receptionist will place you at a table or ask you to wait in the entrance which also serves as a waiting room. 

Once seated, you can choose from a multitude of dishes ranging from tuna maki to lobster risotto. The starters and desserts are amazing and you can finish your meal with a delicious crème brûlée or a strawberry waffle. The room is beautiful and its velvet armchairs and sofas are very comfortable. The Agate restaurant is located in a big building with several restaurants and cafes along the Hijrah Walk, on Al Abbas bin Obada Road, Al Qaswa, Madina Street.

I really liked the resturant ! The reception was nice and tidy, the staff were professional and friendly.nice presentation for the plates that we ordered (burgers sliders, steaks and appetizers...) thier preparation for the birthday party was appropriate and beautiful.

One of the best restaurants in Madinah. They serve steak, oriental food and lots more. The steak is amazing. I also saw people ordering boat sushi, and they look delicious too. Boat sushi - they present the sushis in a boat - very unique. Will definitely come back again here when I visit Madinah!

I really enjoyed my experience at Agate. The menu is extensive and has a wide variety of dishes. Our party had a little bit of everything from pasta, lobster risotto, steak, wraps, pizza, sushi and more. They also have fun drinks and the freshest mango juice I've tasted. The ambience is dark when the ceiling is retracted and becomes more lighter when they close it. We enjoyed having the dual experience. Our server Ishak was great and helped us identify which dishes to try. He and the manager Abdul Basher really made us feel at home. Looking forward to going back to Madinah in the future and hope to visit Agate again.

The waiters are very friendly and professional. The place is elegant. The food is good actually. The price point is pretty good I was surprised when the bill came. I thought it was going to be more. Totally recommend.
