Disappointing feedback on Recent Experience at [Hotel Mercure Al Hamra ]
I am writing to provide feedback on my recent experience at your hotel. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the situation that occurred during my stay.
I understand that the hotel had to accommodate a large client for a 15-day booking, hotel management knowing about this large client booking they have still taken overlap booking and checked in the guest with a lie and charging them hefty amount aswell. I had 16 days booking with hotel( Paid booking) and in 4 days time they abruptly start switching off the lift and room electricity and ask the guest to check out as buidling has major electrical threat. guest who had planned to stay longer, this was quite inconvenient and unexpected. Hotel management gives a notice of just 2 hours to checkout (Guest where from different countries and did raise concern on hospitality of Accors Hotel).
I will write to Accors Hotel to not associate with such poor business associates and hamper the name of the Accor hotel.
As information shared by the hotel staff this is not the first the hotel owner decided to check out the guest for his larger clients.
In the future, I would never recommend or wish to book such hotels where there is poor management .
There was no proper communication or provided suitable alternatives or compensation for the inconvenience caused.
