We absolutely loved our stay in a cabin at The View Hotel. Friendly service. Very good value. It was such a cute cabin. Comfy bed, good shower, lovely little deck. Kitchenette had a fridge and microwave. There was free breakfast up at the hotel too. We had a premium view and it was breathtaking. Beautiful at sunrise and sunset. We woke up in the middle of the night and the star-gazing was magical - we saw shooting stars and the Milky Way and then bats at sunrise too. Having stayed in the hotel previously I enjoyed the cabin even more. It’s rustic and not huge but one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Would love to return!

Amenities of the rooms are simple but clean. Overall, the historical rooms create a quaint, Western ambiance. The real star of the show is--as the name of the hotel implies--the view. It's spectacular both at daytime and nighttime. During the daytime, you can enjoy the stunning rock formations on your private balcony; at night, the stars strewn across the Milky Way come to greet you. You could definitely go star-gazing at other places without forking over $500 a night as we did, but the hushed ambiance in the middle of nowhere was well worth every dollar. The restaurant on the premises is lovely as well, decked with floor-to-ceiling windows that leave nothing to the imagination.
