Novotel Yanbu Albahr

I was alone on a business trip, considering few accommodation options in Yanbu i chose this hotel. Room costs two or even three times the average of other options. Was expecting a higher standard but unfortunately the lobby smelled like a fish market could be due to the rain the night before, yet I don’t see it as an excuse for such a high rate hotel I was given a room with the worst view ever (see the attached) asked the front desk to change it the following day if possible (as i was staying for 3 nights) what made me mad that when I followed this up no one at the front disk knew about it, she left no note & they promised to change it the day after but again nothing happened. Room facilities are old, toilet is smelly & too dark Some lighting wasn’t working, AC can only be adjusted manually!! You need to get up walk all the way to the entrance to adjust it. Many opportunities for a 4 star hotel 😔

Four Seasons price, Motel 6 quality. We paid about 240 US per night, very hard bed, lumpy foam pillows, room was not serviced at all during our stay, breakfast (buffet) was out of most items hot items when we went 45 minutes before end of breakfast service. Go to Holiday Inn instead and get your money’s worth.

The hotel is lovely, with very courteous staff. I would recommend the hotel to all looking for a very homely place. The food quality is excellent, and the staff are very warm and welcoming. I thank you for the experience.

Had a wonderfull stay at Novotel Yanbu along with the family and cant wait to visit again. Friendly staff and great service
