I’ve stayed at Nawazi for a little more than 1 week in the end of April 2022 and didn’t have a satisfying stay. There are many issues with this hotel, first being it’s old and outdated.
The internet connection at Nawazi is very poor and does not work at all. Not even once in the 8 days of my stay did the internet even work properly. You cannot even open google on your phone. So you’ll be forced to use mobile data to message and communicate or not use your devices at all.
The room service is poor since the hotel barely has any employees working for them. Not once in the 10 days of my stay did we get a towel. We kept asking the reception and the hotel employees but they rudely kept denying that there were no towels. Some of the people at the reception were very rude. It’s a shame that we pay thousands of riyal but can’t even get a towel. Very disappointed.
At Nawazi the toilets are outdated and take long to flush. They have been clogged a couple times at my stay. The furniture has minor scratches and the chairs are wobbly. The water that runs only is hot for about 5 minutes before it starts to get very cold. Water heater is poor. The general lighting in the hotel is outdated. You can see so many lights flickering withcarpet stains in the hallways.
Everything else at the hotel was bare minimum. However it is necessary to point out the laziness and poor work towards running the hotel. I can assure you even the elevators in the hotel aren’t on their yearly up to date service. I feel like due to covid the maintainable of the hotel went down leading to this.
