Makarem Al Shorofat Hotel

I booked three rooms and while paying they deduct fare for four rooms. Not return yet I called many times, but no response

Thanks to the management who does listen and act, installed a freez. card key must be reactive evry couple of hours. Congested rooms situationbin understandablel. Location on goole maps is confusing. This unit of hotel is sister concern of Umm al Qura hotel which has front on main road. Lobby is good and the reception staff is sober and respectful.

Service, location and rooms are very poor. The only positive thing is the AC is working very well. It was my mistake at the booking. Very long story. It is for 2 nights than I am moving in a Swisshotel 5* hotel.

One of the worst hotel stays of my life. This hotel is a branch of Makarem Umul Qura but more like a budget hotel branch. It is right behing MUQH. Our room was not well kept. Upon arrival the toilet of our room was still dirty. The bins of the hotel were overflowing with rubbish. Phone line was not working. You literally had to beg the person at the reception to send someone for clean up. The hotel was clearly understaffed. But the hotel management at Makarem Umul Qura want the money to come in, thats why they keep on letting the rooms anyway at this place. They don’t have staff to cater the needs of their guests. Even the staff at the hotel was ridiculous and whenever we approached them for assistance they would say ‘Humko dosray hotel mein jana hai waha bohat kaam hai’ By ‘Dosra hotel’ they meant Makarem Umal Qura. Then I would ask what about us who should we go to. Ridiculous absolute ridiculous!

It looks like staff quarters for Makarim Umm-ul-Qura hotel. Best thing is free shuttle to Haram
