Description

If you need a comfortable and convenient place to stay on your pilgrimage to the birthplace of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), you should check out the Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel, one of the best hotels in Makkah when it comes to location.

The Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel location on Ajyad St. places it right at the centre of the Holy City of Makkah and within walking distance of Al Masjid Al Haram. In fact, it’s just approximately 500 metres from the hotel to the Holy Mosque. Also close by (about 300 metres or a five-minute walk away) is Abraj Al Bait Towers, one of which is the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, the tallest among the towers in the complex and known for the Makkah Royal Clock that adorns its facade and the Clock Tower Museum at its top four floors.

Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel Mecca offers a range of air-conditioned accommodation options to suit every need. Pilgrims travelling in groups will appreciate the double-, triple- and quadruple-occupancy rooms. Travellers looking for something more spacious will find what they need in the hotel’s suites and suite rooms, most of which have a distinct sitting area, work table and dining table. The hotel also has a restaurant on site, Zamzam restaurant, for the convenience of its guests, or you can find the best Makkah restaurants nearby.

Excellent service and great rooms. Location is also another 5 stars. Breakfast buffet was also impressive with a wide spread and would definitely look back to come back again.

The quadruple room they gave us wasn't the same as shown on the website. The room was very congested, air-conditioner wasn't working properly, there was no exhaust fan in the toilet, shower wall was moulded, even there was a door handle just above the pillow of one of the beds. But all the service providing personnel are very nice and cordial. Their best service is to drop off and pickup from the free parking area, by the hotel's own SUV, 24/7.

Breakfast was very good as there was a great range of food, there was also an on sit cafe which served very nice iced lattes - the staff were also very friendly and polite. We had the deluxe suite which was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. However the bathroom was not the best and the sink was missing the plug and you could see all the dirt inside and also the shower screens and floor had some limescale built up but not sure if this was just the material of the screen or poor cleaning The distance from the haram was around a 5 minute walk and had easy access to the gate where you could easily go down some stairs to the actual Kaaba and complete your tawafs. Food options around the hotel were limited, I tended to get food from the food courts in the clock tower which is probably a 10 minute walk.

This was my second stay with Makarem. It was a very nice experience. The amenities and service is very good. Even water is provided. All of staff starting from reception, bell boys, house keeping very all exceptional. I was lucky to have a car parking as well for free which is very difficult to get in Makkah. They could have denied me parking but the reception called the security who called another guy and was granted to me. We got an interconnected room one for me and one for my parents. There is a prayer room at one of the floors as well. The only thing is like all rooms in Makkah it is not quite big. Close to haram you just have to walk for 5 minutes. All details are provided with leaflets with qr codes and a channel for hotel. There are stores and supermarkets in ghufran Tower. Overall it was a good stay.

Makarem is a 5 star hotel in Makkah but we had a very bad experience in this hotel and also in another branch of Makarem umm alqura. Very lazy & rude staff of reception. I booked a junior suite with a king bed , but they put one extra bed in my room. When I asked the operator, she told us we can't remove this ,totally worth the experience and give only 1 star of this hotel.
