Description

If you need a comfortable and convenient place to stay on your pilgrimage to the birthplace of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), you should check out the Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel, one of the best hotels in Makkah when it comes to location.

The Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel location on Ajyad St. places it right at the centre of the Holy City of Makkah and within walking distance of Al Masjid Al Haram. In fact, it’s just approximately 500 metres from the hotel to the Holy Mosque. Also close by (about 300 metres or a five-minute walk away) is Abraj Al Bait Towers, one of which is the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, the tallest among the towers in the complex and known for the Makkah Royal Clock that adorns its facade and the Clock Tower Museum at its top four floors.

Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel Mecca offers a range of air-conditioned accommodation options to suit every need. Pilgrims travelling in groups will appreciate the double-, triple- and quadruple-occupancy rooms. Travellers looking for something more spacious will find what they need in the hotel’s suites and suite rooms, most of which have a distinct sitting area, work table and dining table. The hotel also has a restaurant on site, Zamzam restaurant, for the convenience of its guests, or you can find the best Makkah restaurants nearby.

The Hijaz Restaurant is a very nice place to eat. The staff is very friendly and there is plenty of food choice. Special thanks to Mohamed Yasin who is always there to help you out. Very nice man!! The rooms are clean. There is always someone tp come clean it at any time of the day.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room and bedding were clean. The bathroom was modern and excellent shower. The Hijaz restaurant in the hotel was great with lots of variety. The staff were really considerate and helpful especially Mohammad Yasin and Nazmul. It’s a 5 minute walk from the Haram

Amazing hotel to stay at, would definitely recommend for anyone. Breakfast and lunch was brilliant as well as the customer service. Many thanks to specifically Mr Saeed Khan who made our experience the best it could have ever been - very polite and welcoming. Will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful, clean hotel with lovely cleaning staff and catering team. Pros: -Spacious rooms and clean. Great soft beds. -Only a few minutes walk from the grand mosque. -Naeem arranged our luggage to be collected and dropped off to the coach. Lovely man. -Sohail, young man who cleaned our rooms was lovely and helpful. -Lots of amazing people in the buffet area that could not do enough for us. -Staff working there from abroad I.e. Bangladesh, Burma, Pakistan, India etc were lovely. Cons: - Bathrooms needed to be cleaner. -Arabic staff in reception were rude and need to learn manners. People pay good money to stay in the hotel, so they deserve to be treated right, i.e., please, thank you and SMILE - IT SUNNAH! -Breakfast time if you go early it is packed, not enough tables so if you need to go on an excursion you end up missing breakfast which is not okay as I had a little one and my mum with me, who is an older lady. Need to think about increasing capacity for breakfast. - Room service is very expensive. - Non electric Wheelchair to rent for the day was not advertised anywhere.

Terrible service. Ordered food from the “restaurant” (does not even carry half the menu at most times) and did not receive food for over an hour. Rooms were never cleaned properly, not a single bed was made and the garbage was left on the floor most days. Location isn’t great either, as it is a far walk from the Kaaba and Masjid. Nearly an hour is used up on just travelling. Reception makes many empty promises, simply to fail to deliver. Overall disappointed with my experience.

Makarem is a 5 star hotel in Makkah but we had a very bad experience in this hotel and also in another branch of Makarem umm alqura. Very lazy & rude staff of reception. I booked a junior suite with a king bed , but they put one extra bed in my room. When I asked the operator, she told us we can't remove this ,totally worth the experience and give only 1 star of this hotel.
