It's an incredible place, with spacious rooms and a truly beautiful environment. Truly unique food and drinks in the local culinary tradition. Great price. Excellent service. I have to come with my mom next year and my expectation is really high 😍⭐️

Luxurious 5 star resort in the middle of a desert. The rooms were excellent and art installations interesting. The service was above average but sometimes a little slow. The resort is spread out and spacious with zen vibes. It feels very relaxed, private, and quiet even when most rooms are occupied. Really enjoyed our stay at this place! Note there is no room service or dining options available after midnight so bring some food if you are checking in late. You will also need to organize private transport such as driver, taxi, or hotel car to get around to your activities around AlUla as the shuttle does not always run according to the posted schedule.

This place was zen come to life. We loved our stay! The electric bikes and art installations were so cool. We did not attend the activities as we had packed our schedule too full-next time would recommend saving time to spend at the resort to do the star gazing at night and cinema night and exercise classes which were all included. Only complaint is the restaurant-food was mediocre (had an over salted soup and bland flat bread) but the prices were easily X2 compared to restaurants in town.

Positives: - the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. - they have interesting activities in their daily program. Also the swing and the trampoline are great fun. - the rooms are quite nice. - buggy drivers and housekeeping staff are nice and helpful. - the gym/spa/yoga studio looked nice! Negatives: - some of the staff (reception-restaurant) give off weird vibes. Nothing bad happened particularly, but we didn't feel genuinely welcomed. Also the service at the restaurant is very slow. One time we were the only table at the restaurant and it took them around 15 minutes to bring us the menu, and the same time to bring us the bill! - the welcome ceremony is a nice touch but it lacked originality and connection to the Saudi culture. It seemed copied from other places who believe in stuff like getting rid of negative energy by lighting up some herbs. It has nothing to do with Saudi beliefs and it just came off very cringy. - lack of food options is a big problem at the resort. There is no room service which is a huge negative. When I am at a resort like that, big part of having a good time is to have access to all kinds of food and drinks. Even the one restaurant at the resort has a very limited menu. - no TV in the room.. even upon request. I understand when resorts like this don't have TVs in the room. But they should be available upon request like most resorts do. Many people will like to watch a movie or something at night when there is not much to do at the resort. - value for money. Especially in terms of service, you'd expect a top service when you stay at such an expensive resort, but you don't get it here. They rejected our simple request of getting 2 bikes. They rejected to give us a 1-hour late check out. Even the smallest things like putting some chocolate or fruits upon check in or turndown service are not there.
