The management and most of people in the reception are unskilled, very difficult to understand them as they have poor English. They try to oblige you to pay your stay in advance??? They don´t know how to count the nights you are staying, a complete lack of coordination. Be lucky if the guy in the reception you talk to about any issue will inform the next person in the shift because in my case it was a chain of misunderstandings combined with no communication skills. A nightmare. The only nice people and with skills are the poor Philippinos and the guys who clean the hotel. Also I tried the breakfast the first night and decided to have breakfast outside. Very bad food. Never again.

my first trip to Riyadh and I am lucky I ended up in this hotel. brilliant room and friendly staff. morning breakfast became my favourite thing to do. plenty of choices and super friendly staff. 24 hour gym was excellent for a gym gymholic like me. it had steam and sauna and a swimming pool which was being upgraded. The only negative was it was not close to city center.

We, a group of 5 people had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. The receptionist was very welcoming. The staffs were very nice. No complaints about the room service. Nice location. Near to the Al Hamra mall. Basement parking available. Petrol pump nearby. The swimming pool and the terrace area is a bit small. Gym available in the top floor. The dishes served for breakfast were almost the same for 3 days. If a person plans to stay here for a longer duration, this might turn out to be a concern. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience.

Nice clean place. Rooms were large. Service was very good - everyone tried their best. And I saw smile on everyone's face. Breakfast had ample items (although I thought options for cereals could be better).

Golden Tulip was a perfect staying place for my 3 weeks stay during my initial days in Riyadh. The hotel amenities are good enough and all the staff are so friendly. Especially Reception Staff were very helpful and resolved my issues quickly and effectively. Pros: 1. Room Size 2. Room Amenities 3. Hotel Ambience 4. Friendly Staffs 5. Airport pick up and drop 6. Room cleanliness Cons: 1. Breakfast was good. But the menu was the same throughout my stay. Quite difficult to manage for long staying guests. 2. WIFI speed could have been better.
