Fantastic centre, I hadn't heard about it until a couple of weeks ago, so glad we went, a huge amount to do and doesn't cost the earth like done other venues. Would highly recommend a visit and arriving early, and if you are going for the falconry display at the arena, I'd recommend getting there early for a seat, it got busy, very quickly. Fantastic, helpful and insightful staff who where knowledgeable and approachable.

Pay what you can at the door with suggested donations, the person at the door was very approachable and they seem very accommodating (for anyone worried). Lovely day out for us and a 15 month old. Plenty of space to run about for kids and nice sheltered locations. Plenty of places to have a seat. Tree top walk was amazing! Animals are well looked after and highly recommend watching some of the feeding times/tours with knowledgeable staff presenting. For anyone wondering why the RAF Buccaneer exhibit is £15, you get your photos taken and you also get a print of the aircraft. Highly recommend and will be back in the summer!

This is an amazing and magical place to bring children all year round (remember and bring your carrots 🥕). However, at Christmas, it has that extra appeal. We were so lucky to see santa feeding and choosing his deer 🦌 for his present delivery on Xmas Eve. Great work, Forestry Commission, very magical and made my sons Christmas.

A nice location old style where enjoy a wide varieties of dishes. Good quality with honest prices. Just one thing I don't understand, if you pay already the cover why is recommended (as a must) the service charge proportioned at the amount you spend. In my country you have to earn your service charge! Soup was very very good!

This restaurant was very accommodating as we arrived after 10pm and they served us well. Google told us the kitchen was open until 11pm, but it felt awkward just after 10pm. The duck dish had more flavor than the deer, but both were prepared quite well. I would just recommend adding some sides of horse radish or something else to go with the deer. That said, the kitchen did a great job even though we were clearly the last customers for the night. We will visit another time during their regular hours.
