Arena Beach Chalets

I cannot rate this place highly enough, the staff were what really made it, the service they offered, always with an infectious smile was exemplary. The food and drinks were varied and always produced to a high standard. The value for money was fantastic, especially compered to other resorts we considered, fuerteventura is just lovely anyway, not overly developed but with plenty to do, for our family this was a perfect holiday

I am writing this review for fellow Celiacs who may be looking at visiting this hotel. I usually worry about going abroad as eating gluten or even cross contamination of gluten could potentially ruin a holiday. Not here!! Every meal the restaurant manager would call out the head chef to show me what I could eat from the buffet. There were so many choices that I ate so well with diverse tasty meals. They understood cross contamination explaining when I could eat the chips (2days) as they had changed the oil in the fryer and only they had been in there. They also told me when ingredients had changed as to what sauces I could have some days and not on others. I ate so well and didn't once get sick and I am very sensitive to gluten. They also gave me gluten free bread every breakfast from the kitchen so I didn't miss out. The only dessert I could eat was ice cream they didn't prepare any for me but I can't complain as I am more of a savoury person anyway. A huge shout out to the staff members Malorie, Steven & Maxi who worked so hard and always had a smile on their face which made our holiday even better. A massive thank you to Roger the restaurant manager who took the time each day to get the chef to translate what I could and couldn't eat. We loved this hotel and would highly recommend if you are looking for a hotel that understands and caters to a gluten free diet.

Very clean,inviting hotel with excellent staff, good amenities Rooms are well equipped with a huge comfy bed,small balcony & very good bathroom Good choice of food at all meals, buffet service too so have what you want. Inclusive drinks are local so not the best, you can pay extra for brands. Good 15/20 min walk to the main street, add another 10 mins for old Town Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, non pretentious all inclusive holiday,if you want glitz, glammer & numerous restaurants then look elsewhere. This hotel does everything to make your stay pleasant & comfortable

Things I liked - Staff friendly and welcoming - Clean, well kept, especially the grounds - Coffee out of the bean to cup machines was surprisingly good - Pricing was good Things I didn’t like so much - Apartments were a bit tired, and not very cosy with their tiled floor and clinical decor. I’m not really sure the point of having a kitchen in an all you can eat hotel, so it’s not a big deal but it was outdated and not very well stocked. I did appreciate the washing up liquid and cloth though. - The pool was cold - only the big pool was heated but even that was a bit cold in February. I’m sure its great in the summer though. - The (buffet) food was unfortunately just not very good. Bland tasting, cheap ingredients, unhealthy, poor vegetarian options, not much choice, never very fresh.

Just spent 7 days in this hotel. It was lovely and clean inside and out. Food was always hot and a great variety with themed nights. The hotel was near enough to walk into the centre and also to the beach ⛱️ and along the sand dunes and the national park was at the end of the road. Plenty of things to do within a short walk
