Arena Beach Chalets

Very clean,inviting hotel with excellent staff, good amenities Rooms are well equipped with a huge comfy bed,small balcony & very good bathroom Good choice of food at all meals, buffet service too so have what you want. Inclusive drinks are local so not the best, you can pay extra for brands. Good 15/20 min walk to the main street, add another 10 mins for old Town Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, non pretentious all inclusive holiday,if you want glitz, glammer & numerous restaurants then look elsewhere. This hotel does everything to make your stay pleasant & comfortable

Things I liked - Staff friendly and welcoming - Clean, well kept, especially the grounds - Coffee out of the bean to cup machines was surprisingly good - Pricing was good Things I didn’t like so much - Apartments were a bit tired, and not very cosy with their tiled floor and clinical decor. I’m not really sure the point of having a kitchen in an all you can eat hotel, so it’s not a big deal but it was outdated and not very well stocked. I did appreciate the washing up liquid and cloth though. - The pool was cold - only the big pool was heated but even that was a bit cold in February. I’m sure its great in the summer though. - The (buffet) food was unfortunately just not very good. Bland tasting, cheap ingredients, unhealthy, poor vegetarian options, not much choice, never very fresh.

Just spent 7 days in this hotel. It was lovely and clean inside and out. Food was always hot and a great variety with themed nights. The hotel was near enough to walk into the centre and also to the beach ⛱️ and along the sand dunes and the national park was at the end of the road. Plenty of things to do within a short walk

Lovely place great food nice and clean. Unfortunately the lack of hot water in our rooms at peak times (4pm onwards) has put us off returning. The gym was small and basic. Some of the equipment a little tired and damage. But overall a great place to stay.

Great location. Lovely food. Great selection and variety. Rooms are good size. Not much shelves for clothes but a double size wardrobe to hang things. Well equipped kitchen area if you are self catering. We stayed in room 130 which was excellent for being away from the noise of the main pool and entertainment as we like a quiet holiday. Staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. Housekeeping were fantastic. I can't believe the mess some people leave behind and think it's acceptable. The hotel is fully accessible as I have walking difficulties. The small kids pool has a great play area. Although it was quiet and most of kids played in the big pool. Maybe it is heated as it is December. The small kids pool wasn't. I gave 4 stars as I would like to see the food section into vegetarian options away from meats as the serving spoons were being used by guests to serve meat. Then using same spoon to pick up rice and vegetables etc. Also given that all drinks and pool food is served in paper and plastic cups/plates there does not appear to be any recycling points. These are the only negatives though. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is great for families. There is a local bus a 5 min walk away to get you to puerto del rosario where the bus station there goes to all parts of the island for a couple of euros. Very reliable services
