Al Madinah Harmony Hotel

Stayed here a few times now.. Quality for money. Staff are welcoming and very pleasant. Parking is available making it convenient also. The location is superb as the Haram is near. Lots of convenient shops around too for eminities and take out. I just feel the rooms need a modern upgrade although we have had extremely comfortable stays despite this. I highly recommend this hotel and will love to come back again.

So many bad things… No WiFi in rooms… color scheme feels very awkward… almost No Light in the hallway… Low level furniture… Don’t buy the room with this sort of Window… will make you feel that you are in captured in Jail… But good thing is they switched the room on request that has Uhud Mountain View.. Good point is Very Clean. Can’t say it is a Five Star.

The worst hotel experience ever. The receptionists may as well not be there as everything that we asked for was completely ignored. We were unable to stay in the room for longer than 30 minutes as there was a wretched stench coming from the bathroom, hotel room and the corridors. My cousin decided to sleep in the lobby for our 5 night stay. The housekeeping took 2 days to come clean our room which was just making the bed bearing in mind the carpet was filthy, the bathroom had black mould everywhere and the bedsheets looked like they hadn’t been changed for 2 weeks. As we pulled the bedspread off the bed the first night, there appeared to be hair and green bogey like bits. The AC was extremely slow and was blowing out dust particles and triggered multiple family members dust allergies which caused them to be ill for the rest of the trip. We had 30 family members staying in Harmony and let’s just say not one of us left happy. Overall I cannot stress enough please do not waste your money on this hotel, I do hope this was useful and you can find a better hotel and enjoy your stay in the beautiful city of Madina.

Great hotel but needs renovation. Good distance within the Holy Mosque but the customer service is really bad. Breakfast used to be amazing but the quality and variety has dropped drastically. Would only stay here because of its location otherwise there are many more options.

I needed to fly back to England just to post this review, Internet is that horrible. I have a screenshot of the Internet being 1mbps. They ruin the Internet in the building and convince you to buy their data. The breakfast is loud and crowded, the food is stale and feels like they microwave next day food. I made extra dua this hotel had good breakfast everyday and I promise you it tasted worse than ever. You might as well fast. The only positive is that its kinda close to the al msq an nabawi. Inshallah I hope you all don't go to this hotel and experience this. Subhanallah enjoy your umrah and Hajj.
